These meds… I used to NEED a drink at 5pm.

Today I called and found out my psychiatrists Medical Assistant was a good resource for trying to troubleshoot this, and she’s going to call around and see if we can find a better long term solution on Monday. I’m especially worried about this due to the national med shortage… but I also am worried about keeping my job. I’m trying to minimize missing more work and school. I’ve missed a lot of work due to other medical issues lately and due to my caregiving duties prior to the death of my father this year.

To pick up my meds I have to take off work. I work and go to school during normal business hours, in order to see my psychiatrist I have to take off work. My psychiatrist even tried writing a note to the pharmacy saying I could pick my meds up early, but it still doesn’t fit with my schedule thanks to the pharmacy’s limited weekend hours. My psychiatrist only works Monday thru Thursday and I haven’t had luck finding ANY other providers in the county. Have you found anything that makes getting your medication on the day you’re allowed to pick it up easier? Because no one can pick it up for me, and I can’t have it moved from one pharmacy to another, and I can’t have it delivered without a signature, and I work long hours, I almost always have to wait three or more days past the fill date to pick up my prescription. Why did he do something so stupid and inconsiderate? He absolutely knew better, because what he did would have been an issue everywhere. I guess what always blows my mind in this story is just the “why” factor. As you said, he was in their country and he needed to play by the rules. He still was treated fairly though, in terms of how Singapore handles things. I actually feel badly for him, because caning sounds horrible. People have ti learn consequences early, because if they grow up being a little ass like that, some consequences are worse than others.Ī spoiled brat kid was caned. I think people were more shocked at the punishment itself though than the conviction. It shouldn’t have been a shock that he got in trouble for it anywhere. Vandalism is a crime pretty much all over, not right mention just a generally crappy thing to do. It isn’t like the sort of clothing you would wear, like a place where women must cover their hair vs. Especially a law that would pretty much be all over the world.
